Deniz Tapkan Cengiz is a portraiture and ethologist.
She received the 3rd place award with a couple photo and the honor award with a portrait photo of the corona days from the International Photo Awards, which has a valuable jury. Plus, she got the honorable mention award with an artist's portrait photo from Tokyo International Photo Awards.
Her photos were published in publications such as The Guardian, Vogue (online), Mason Franchaise, La Revue de la Ceramique et du Verre, Home Art, Studio Mercado, ArtDog Istanbul, AllDecor, Unlimited Magazine, Science and Technical magazine (cover) of Cumhuriyet Newspaper.

Thanks to her former job as cabin chief, she had the chance to see more than 60 countries and cities of the world by flying with Turkish Airlines for more than 10 years. For this reason, she can participate in any shooting abroad, stay for the shoot and adapt quickly.
She is one of the animal photojournalists of We Animals Media, which is very valuable to her. Due to her zoologist and vegan identity, she usually produces in the documentary photography style about animals. She is also continuing her master's degree in cognitive ethology at Eskisehir Technical University.
